IIEBM was established in the year 2000 by Col. Vinod Marwaha & Shrimant Vijay Sinha Naik Nimbalkar (popularly known as Shivajiraje). It is a private college and has a legacy of 25 years in the education field. IIEBM's Educational roots trace back to the Parent Educational Trust, founded by Shivajiraje, which has been active in the Education Sector since the year 1951. The foundation was laid even earlier, in the year 1893, when His Highness Shrimant Mudhojirao Naik Nimbalkar, Ruler of Phaltan State, established the first school in the region.
IIEBM has established collaborations with several distinguished national and international institutions and organisations, such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, CISI, and the London School of Digital Business.
