While preparing for JIPMAT exam, candidates must manage their time effectively to get the desired results. Here are some techniques to help candidates improve their study routine:
1. Set specific goals, both short term and long term to stay focused
2. Prioritize tasks to focus on high priority topics first and allocate time wisely.
3. Create a study schedule for different topics or sections.
4. Use Pomodoro technique. This requires the candidates to study in timed intervals for focused results. Set a timer for 25 minutes to study, after the time is completed take a break of 5 minutes. After certain number of such sessions are completed, candidates can take a long break of 15-20 minutes.
5. Avoid multitasking for enhanced focus on one section.
6. Break tasks into smaller steps to avoid procrastination.
7. Use productivity tools, including to-do lists, calendar, timer, and more.
8. One must not avoid taking breaks. Regular breaks helps in breaking monotonous schedule. These were some of the best techniques for managing time while preparing for any competitive exam.
