The worthiness of CAT percentile depends on the MBA college you want to take admission into. For a Tier 1 B-School, 95 + percentile is a good score, whereas for a Tier 2 institute, 80-90 percentile is a good score. Admission cut offs of the Iims are always 95 percentile and above.

Last year, the Xavier Aptitude Test cut-off for Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur was between 87-93 percentile, similar to the last two years. The Xavier Aptitude Test 2023 cut-off for male engineering candidates is 93 percentile and for female engineering candidates, it is 91 percentile. Indian candidates can apply for all Xavier School of Management programs through Xavier Aptitude Test but for General Management Programme both Xavier Aptitude Test and Graduate Management Admission Test, scores are acceptable for Indian students.
