I am sure BITS pilani will definitely organised placements where many companies do come and students get placed as well with good CTC. There is of course a school of thought which subscribe to the theory that it a couple of years of practical experience makes a student fit for taking up MBA. On the other hand doing MBA immediately after graduation is helpful for a student since the student is still in the mode of studying. XLRI is definitely a very good institute for doing MBA and if you are getting a seat in this Institute then I suggest you should take it. Best wishes to you.
