No Odisha, 12th marks are not considered for MBA Admission in Banasthali University. Banasthali Vidyapith offers admission to the MBA course based on the performance of the candidates in the aptitude test (Banasthali University Aptitude Test) conducted online along with merit in the last qualifying examination, I. e. a 50% aggregate in BBA or any other equivalent Bachelor's degree.

If your son is not willing to join MBA , there is no big issue because he is having that much caliber that he crack any interview easily. If he is losing confidence, and for this reason he is taking back step, he must be taken for counselling because there is no reason to waste the whole year, if he has no major reason of dropping out.

Cut off for PGCET for MBA 2021: 48 marks while 2020 has a cut off : 47 marks. Around 47-48 marks, every year cut off is there. You can get admission in MBA using PGCET under the ranks 5000. on 48 marks you may get rank of 1000 approx. After counselling's, it would help you in PGCET clearing for MBA.

I will divide the answer in 2 parts, PGDM and MS:
MS cut offs are pretty high but at 96.93 you have a chance of admission AFTER the CAP rounds are over. Once the CAP rounds are over, all colleges come up with a list of vacant seats and Welingkar releases an advertisement in the leading newspapers inviting applications. You can apply then. Also there is a group on Facebook where all such MBA college details are shared which you should join. PGDM:
