The college also has an alumni cell that promotes new ideas and innovation for the students with the help of a vast NHCE alumni network. NHCE has a department of counselling that offers students and respective families with proper guidance through counselling on the campus. The department has seven professionally qualified counsellors who help the students to deal with their daily life challenges and develop an insight for making right choices in their lives.

NHCE has an Industry Institute Collaboration Cell (IICC) which is responsible for networking and collaboration with top MNCs across the globe. NHCE admissions are conducted in both online and offline modes. Candidates willing to seek admission, either need to apply by visiting the official website or download and send the duly-filled application form to the admission office of the college. - Admission to BE programme is based on rank obtained by candidates in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)
- Candidates with a valid score in CET, conducted by Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA) are also considered for BE admission
For PG courses
- Admissions to MTech and MCA programme is based on Karnataka PGCET. However, applicants with GATE score are also eligible for admission to MTech programme

Placements: I am a 2019 pass out batch student. From our batch, approximately 90% of the students got placements from our branch (CSE). The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, HSBC, Thermo Fisher Scientific, etc. Around 30% of the students from our course got internships in Aricent, Infosys, ITC and few other companies. Yes, You get placed if you have good coding skills as well as Development skills.Generally, Companies Focuses on your skill, not Your 10th or 12th marks. But You Engineering marks they see but If you are good at above both skills then marks of academics become secondary.
