There's no best specialisation in MBA. All are good and have great opportunities. My suggestion always is to choose a field which you like. MBA in Finance, Marketing and HR are very lucrative fields of specialisation. All these branches of MBA offer opportunities in various sectors and with exciting job opportunities. Although, choosing which field should you specialise in totally depends on your interests. Let us discuss the kind of job opportunities in both fields and the colleges best for each specialisation

I do not have idea about MBA in Azim Premji University, I would say It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well known university and that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding exposure and professional enhancement training. Bachelor of Arts B.A. Honours in Economics is a 3-year full time graduation course. The eligibility for which is a Higher Secondary Certificate qualification from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate marks of 45%. The entire course programme is spread across 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters of 6 months each. Some universities also follow the yearly programme of examination. The cut-off marks for application in this course varies from institute to institute. Going by my own experience and of others who have a similar profile as yours, you can expect a call from MDI at about 96.5 -97 percentile. A few people from my batch had received calls at a lower percentile as well but that again varies from year to year. So all in all, 97 percentile would be a safe bet.
