Dharmesh for doing MBA whether in regular mode or distance mode you need to be a graduate. Then MBA through distance mode is only going to be beneficial if you are working otherwise go for MBA through regular mode so that you don't face problems while looking for job. There are many good universities offering MBA along with good placements. Good luck.

There are many universities conducting Distance MBA programs. Both in annual and semester patterns. Only government. Universities are permitted to conduct university degree courses through distance mode outside the jurisdiction of concerned universities. As per new regulation by UGC, universities are warned from offering programs through study center outside states / abroad. That means a university in Tamil Nadu can offer distance programme within Tamil Nadu only.

BBA and B.Com are both good qualifications for seeking admission in MBA. If you are targeting finance & accounting career then B.Com is better option in comparison to BBA. If you are still not clear about your MBA and career specialisations then BBA is a better choice. It will expose you to all management functions and help you to chose best option for you.

No, it is not a compulsion that for getting a job after MBA your graduation should be done via a regular pattern. However, ensure that your distance learning programme is recognised by a university & the institute through which you are expecting to do your BBA is affiliated with a recognised university. If you wish to join your graduation through distance mode you can very well go for it. While opting for an MBA at a later stage it may or may not create problems. There are certain universities or colleges which may allow admission to only those students who have done their graduation as a regular course but there are too others college

The only main thing that should be considered to opt anything for your career is your 'area of interest'. You should really think on this front because if you enjoy your work, you can do better on your work place instead of choosing any other career even with high potential. But for the question you have asked, my opinion is that, in BBA there is basically no specialisation but you can go for BBA in banking and insurance as you will get the knowledge about the banking and insurance sector that is the major part of an economy but due to digitalisation, you should also do some certificate course of IT sector I. e. HTML, DBMS, etc.
