LPU has this pretty solid placement ecosystem for MBA students, with recruiters coming in from various sectors like banking, FMCG, consulting, IT, e-commerce, and financial services ,and they do visit the campus. In some recent placement seasons, the highest MBA package went up to INR 49.4 LPA, and the top 10% of MBA students had an average package of INR 13.6 LPA. Now between Marketing and Tourism & Hospitality ,I'd nudge you toward Marketing if you want wider career mobility, because it basically opens a few or rather doors across nearly every field, including FMCG , retail , digital marketing, banking, and consulting. Yes, there are some colleges that allows letral entries in MBA Hospitality Management course. To be eligible for that graduates typically need bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as, Hotel Management, Tourism and related discipline. Some colleges also ask for a certain amount of work experience as well.
