20 IIMS only accept scores of CAT. The exam is held by IIMS in last week of November or first week of December. PGDM B-schools have option to accept any of the 6 national tests: CAT. XAT CMAT MAT ATMA or GMAT. Top Private Universities like NMIMS and Symbiosis International University, XUB conduct their own exam. Many Government and Private Universities like UPES, Amity University, Manav Rachna University, Shiv Nadar hold their own test number of times in a year and you can take the test any time after application. Many MBA colleges like SOIL offer PGP/PGDM courses and no national exam is needed for admissions here. Many colleges that are not within Top 100 B-schools offer direct MBA admission without entrance exam to complete their seats quota
