The final selection is based on a lot of factors and hence we cannot speculate on it. However, as there is no cutoff for applying to PGDM, you can fill the form and give it a try. GD-PI is weighted highly in your selection process. You can also check about the AIMA course offered by SIES on its website.

Placement opportunities are abundant in Marketing branch. You just need to take care of your academics and communication skills, and you can get placed in a good and reputed Marketing company. Average Salary in Marketing comes around 5-5.5 lacs pa.

I would say MBA from CUSAT would be of more value even in future, the institute being run by the Government of Kerala. Moreover, CUSAT has been able to secure 100% placement in the recent years and the perception among recruiters is improving every year.

Generally, Engineering graduates are preferred for jobs of the nature that you have mentioned. If you are very keen on doing MBA to get similar opportunities, you may chose Operations or Production Management as specialisation.

The RM placement scenario is 100%, the average package is 5.6 Lacs. And for the long run, you can be there in the ministry of development or abroad and can directly formulate policies for the development process. You can also go with the CSR of MNCs.
