The admission procedure at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC), Pune, differs from one course to the other and category to category and the cut off marks are as follows: However, here are some general cutoff ranges for NEET PG:
- MD General Medicine: All are safe only if no person exceeds 450 in General Category and 400 in SC/ST/OBC category.
- MD Pediatrics: General Category – 380-430, SC/ST/OBC – 330-380
- MD Dermatology: For General Category the range given is 420-470 while for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is 380-420.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC), Pune- Internationally accredited, It is ranked as Tier 2 Medical college. Though it is a recognised and reputed university, it cannot be compared with the first-tier medical colleges situated in India like AIIMS, PGI Chandigarh and some of the oldest government medical colleges.
There are second-tier medical colleges which also have their reputation and provide good quality education however, they may not be as high ranking or well endowed as first-tier medical colleges such as BVMC Pune. Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC), Pune accepts the following entrance exams for admission to MBBS:
1. UG (Under Graduate) – The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
2. MHCET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) for seats reserved for the Maharashtra state only
NEET UG is compulsory for all the candidates seeking admission to MBBS in B VM Medical College, Pune through the entrance examination for which NEET UG stands as the primary entrance examination. MHCET is also accepted for Maharashtra state quota seat for students. BVMC Pune has the MBBS programme to which candidates can only be admitted if they pass the NEET UG.

The application fee for the MD programme at BVMC, Pune is:
- For general category the total fee for the course is drawn to INR 3,000.
- INR 5,000 (for UR Category) and INR 2,500 (For SC/ST Category).
Further, an amount of INR 1,000 is demanded in the form of registration fee while admitting in any course.

There are no direct admission in MBBS and other medical courses in Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC), Pune. The admission criterion is merit and there are no management quota as such but they accept students based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Still, without using a single word about the reservation policy, it goes on to clarify that yes NRI/PIO/OCI candidates can apply directly under management quota only if they fulfill the eligibility test as well as the seat availability.
