You should prepare for banking first because you can get a job of an accountant whenever you want. I suggest that you should do sales job instead of accounts because you can get a good salary package and it is easy to get. Please feel free to ask any other question.

Complete your B.Com with very good studies to make it up for the bad academic record and to further study abroad. You can either do CPA or of courses in professional accounting.

Hi Stanley,
First, you need to check with some universities in New Zealand if they will accept the articleship as work experience. Also, many of them require 5 years work experience. Hence, you need to interact with them directly or you can check for MS courses too.

If the candidate has already cleared CA (inter) then I personally believe that he/she should complete CA. It is itself a very rewarding career. However, if the child wishes then he/she can pursue the course conducted by School of Maritime Management.

Go for CA if you are really interested in commerce, accounts and tax. If you like to see business side go for MBA. Think what all subjects you liked during your college and decide accordingly.

Dear Mansi,
CA is itself a highly decorative profession. You can easily seek a job into an MNC. However, if you still are interested in further upgrading yourself than you can go for MBA with specialisation into finance. It will give you a very good exposure into the management branch. This would be a synergistic combination for you.
