Yes, you can pursue BCom Honours and CA together. The syllabus of BCom Honours and CA include similar subjects which make it convenient to complete both the courses simultaneously.

However, both CA and BCom Honours are demanding programmes and need strict dedication by candidates. The candidates should go for this only if they can handle work load of both programmes simultaneously.

Yes, BSc students from VIT Chennai can pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy by fulfilling certain requirements. While a BSc degree does not directly qualify individuals to become CAs, it can serve as a foundation for further studies in accounting and finance.

In conclusion, while a BSc degree from VIT Chennai alone does not qualify individuals to become CA, BSc students can certainly pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy by completing the CA course by successfully clearing the examinations at each level, BSc students can acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to become professional CAs.

The ICAI follows a fair method of evaluation of exam papers of candidates. Be it CA Foundation, CA Intermediate or CA Final exam papers, the ICAI checks the paper on merit of the arguments made. In theory paper, the points are given on language of the answer, clarity of the argument and presentation. In practical papers, marks are awarded if the answer is supported by working notes. If the answer is presented well, clearly in tabular format with working notes (showing calculation), it is sure to get marks. Students say that working notes help in getting grace marks.
