• Applicants with a degree from a college or university whose primary instruction is in English

Applicants can submit Common or Coalition application or QuestBridge application for undergraduate admissions while admission applications are accepted directly through Caltech website for graduate admissions.

Caltech has a very competitive selectivity rate which is usually less than 10%. Admissions are selective hence, admits are also lower for all levels of study - 982 UG and 1,419 students for at the graduate level were admitted in the Fall 2023. The student-faculty ratio on average is 3:1. Caltech students and faculty have received 17 nobel prizes over the years.

The application fee for international students applying for BSc computer Science courses is  USD 75. The Computer Science course at Caltech has consistently demonstrated its excellence in recent years according to THE rankings. In 2021 the University was in 25 positions. However, there has been a drastic climb in the ranking to 13th position in 2022. However, we could witness a small dip in 2022, but we can see the improvement. But applicants considering Caltech surely could consider it mainly because it’s in the top 20 Universities across the globe.
