Now as your 10th is completed, you are moving in class 11th and you are interested in doing engineering. I will suggest you to join the coaching of IIT JEE and prepare yourself for IIT JEE exam which you will be giving after 12th.Once you clear the IIT exam with good marks then you can easily get an IIT and can pursue your dream of becoming an engineer.

There are plenty of engineers of different branches in India who have migrated to a career in software. Nothing prevents you too from joining this bandwagon.
