First of all it is not a course which determines the career prospects and salary. The nature of the industry and it's application in the modern world only results in career prospects if one chooses that industry. Similarly the skill set, qualification, communication, projects done as per industry standard and many other factors determine the salary of a fresher. If you want to pursue Animation as a career, be sure you are very confident about your creative potential. Commit yourself to put in 8-10 hours of studies combined with practise everyday for the next three years during your degree if you want your skills to become very good. Select the right college with extremely high experience in India teaching animation at a Full Time UG Degree level. Check whether you are able to get through their selection criterion like written test OR evaluation of your art/design portfolio. I hope you start understanding there is lot of research and analysis you must do first to evaluate whether you are right for animation and then only search for the right course and college.
