Lower cost of living is the biggest reason. Rent, food, and travel in Ahmedabad cost much less than in Mumbai or Delhi. Add strong colleges like IIM Ahmedabad and GNLU, plus a growing job market at GIFT City, and the value for money is hard to beat.

Yes, and it might surprise you. L.D. College of Engineering charges only around INR 8,190 for the full BE course. Vishwakarma Government Engineering College is just as cheap. Both are solid, low-cost options for students who cannot afford private fees.
