B.Tech electronics & telecommunications engineering (ECE) is the preferred educational qualification for a job in telecom industry at junior management levels. Diploma in ECE is entry qualification in supervisor roles. ITI in electronics is entry qualification for technician in the telecom industry.

In terms of job prospects, both are good. I would list the pros and cons of both.
Suppose you consider medicine as your career:
Pros:
Better prestige and respect.
You can be your own boss if you open your own clinic/hospital.
You'll be able to serve people.
Money (However, exceptions are there in comparison to software career).
Cons:
Becoming a doctor means you need to study for almost 8-9 years (considering you go for Masters after completing your Bachelors).
Moreover, getting into Masters is not that easy.
Cost of studying (depends on the institute you take admission) and then cost of clinic/hospital.

To pursue pilot training, one should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics. For admission, there is a written test that comprises test papers like English, maths, physics, reasoning, general awareness and current affairs. The minimum age to get enroll in a pilot training institute is 17 years. One has to fulfill the medical standards as prescribed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The training fee is Rs 25 lakh and involves 200 hours of flying training. The duration of the course is 15-18 months.

B.Tech or BE is best, if you are not interested in this, then biotechnology is also very good field. Otherwise, you can try for mathematics and computing in DTU. Engineering physics is also good.

It all depends on your interest. It is true that engineering and medical have better prospects in future, but before taking admission I would suggest you to see your inner voice where you want to go. You should evaluate your inner strengths and where you suit yourself. However, today animation also has got better prospects.
