Bot have equal importance. Actually both are some. MBA and PGDM are both management courses yet the only difference is the approach to its curriculum. MBA give more focus to the syllabus framed by the university and no change is bought in for years. As for PGDM the focus is more on the current industrial demands and requirements. You need to give emphasis on college here and then accept which ever of the two degrees it is giving.

B.Tech from a reputed engineering college has good scope and can give you a platform and jump start for a good career. However, if you are interested in pure Sciences then B.Sc M.Sc is the right career path. You are advised to chose career based on your interest.
