In my view,u should choose the interested one,because if u r doing the work in which u have lot of interest then u would never bore,and u can work much hard with interest.

yes,biotechnology serves better. but the thing about biotechnology is that scope depends upon the larger scale of areas specialised to the basis of biotechnology.

Generally graduation in History or any arts or economics section enjoys benefit in IAS preparation, Since you are from commerce background and % in 12th is good as well so i recommend you to pursue Economic Hons from Du.
because later on knowledge gained during graduation will be helpful when you will prepare for IAS.
