For IAS, you should be mentally and physically sound. No other physical requirements.

I don't think joining IAS academy after 12th is a good idea. You have to complete your graduation to become eligible for civil services exams. But if you are too much dedicated and interested, you can join.

Civil Services examination consist of 2 stages. Prelims and Mains.
Prelims has 2 papers of objective type
Mains has 9 papers of essay type

If you want to complete your graduation early, then choose BA, BSc which are 3 years course.
Or you can go for BTech (4years)
