After obtaining degree or diploma in pharmacy, you can :
- apply in good pharma companies as a Medical Representative. You can apply for pharmacist post in hospitals.
- start working in government department.
- do research and development work.
- work in teaching field.
After registering with the state Pharmacy Council you may set up your own pharmacy or chemists and druggists shop to stock

If you do not want to go for a professional degree then you can go for conventional degrees like B.Sc in microbiology, biotechnology, etc.

After completing BA, you may make your career in:
- Teaching.
- Civil services.
You may also opt for masters degree followed by Phd, besides these you may also opt for MBA.
In order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
Please note that, the final selection in MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students.
2. Score in various management entrance test.
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.
