The qualifying CAT cutoff of IIM Trichy is the minimum percentile that candidates must meet to be eligible for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round while the final CAT cutoff is the percentile that candidates must obtain to participate in the WAT/GD-PI round. The former is released with the admission criteria of the institute before the CAT exam while the latter is released after the declaration of CAT result. Read more on IIM Trichy cutoff.

CAT Exam is conducted for admission to IIMs for the MBA course. The estimated final cutoffs are the basis of which the candidates are called for the interview round. Tabulated below are the estimated CAT 2022 cutoff percentiles for the General category for admission to top IIMs, including IIM Shillong.

IIM Shillong Admission 2024 to PGP course is based on CAT 2024 scores. IIM Shillong admission process is conducted in two phases. In the Phase 1, candidates are shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). In Phase 2, based on the Past Academic Performance, Performance in GD and PI, Performance in CAT, total work experience, and gender, the final merit list is prepared for offer of admission to the PGP 2023-25 batch. It is the phase 2 which is the deciding factor for any candidate's admission to IIM Shillong.

Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration requires a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GRE, but in case if the candidates don’t possess any of these scores, he/she can appear for the Institution Entrance Test known as Indian Institute of Management Test. The test is conducted by University online, so it can be taken from anywhere within the convenient of the candidate. A valid score from the IIMU test will be considered instead of CAT/GMAT/GRE score.

No, CAT is not mandatory for admission to PhD/FPM in IIM Lucknow. It is one of the accepted examinations. Indian Institute of Management Lucknow admit candidates to FPM course with a valid score of GATE/GRE/GMAT or JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) exams. Further, apart from this, it is also necessary that each aspirant fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates shortlisted based on exam score are also required to go through an interview round.

Candidates need to appear for any of the national level the exams, among CAT, XAT or GMAT to participate in the MICA PGDM selection process. Admissions to MICA PGDM is based on shortlists prepared considering the MICAT scores, national level exam scores, GE and PI scores. Candidates filling the MICAT application form have to enter the scores of national level exam. However, if they are yet to appear for the exams, they can add the exam scores later. MICA provides the facility to add exam scores at later stage of the registration process.

Yes, aspirants with a valid CAT score can apply for IBS Hyderabad MBA course. Additionally, candidates with a 60 percentile and above CAT score are exempted from writing the IBSAT 2023 exam. For admission to IIM Bodh Gaya for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Bodh Gaya admission.
