The better the percentile, the higher the chances of scholarship. A good percentile is expected. However, I think you need at least 60 percentile to apply. It contributes to 45% weightage during admissions. There are various other factors that are considered before selecting a candidate. Factors like your academics, GD, PPI, Work ex, sports and extra-curricular activities.

Since CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT score contributes to 45% weightage during the admissions process, hence it is very important to have good percentile in it. Another advantage of good percentile in such exam is that you may become eligible for scholarship as well. I think 50 to 60 percentile is the minimum CAT score to apply for admissions.

In its the latest placement season, the International Management Institute in Kolkata witnessed 100% placements, with the highest package standing at 20 LPA and the average of top 50 percentile students at 8.07 LPA. That being said, if I were in your place, I'd choose IMI-Kolkata, regardless of its placement record. The reason being, many other factors come into consideration during education and placements. IMI-K is one of the finest institutes to pursue an MBA. The institute has many professors with years of experience in the subject area. Their expertise in business, marketing, and finance provides students with an academic edge, he

No, admissions at the International Management Institute in Kolkata are of two types - Self Sponsored and/or company-sponsored. The institute creates a cutoff list for all its programs for the various categories - General, Sc/ST/OBC, etc. Candidates are shortlisted only on the basis of their academic records, CAT/XAT or GMAT score, and work experience. The latter is optional. You're called for the subsequent GD, What, and interview process only if you clear the cutoff in your respective category. Certain B-Schools like SPJIMR, Mumbai give profile calls, but eventually, they also consider scores of CAT/GMAT, etc., to make the final sele

Yes, it is mandatory to appear in CAT or MAT or XAT or CMAT, etc in order to get admission in Jaipuria Institute of Management. This percentile score contributes to 45% weightage during admission process.
The admission procedure comprises of following factors:
