On a very realistic note, this is your last chance in CAT. I am saying this, because I did the same. Even I had 3.8 years of experience in IT with a mechanica degree. So, give it your best shot. If you are not able to clear CAT, then give GMAT, once you get 5 years work experience.

It's good that you have the desire to go for another post degree equivalent course (PGDM). Yes, you can take CAT or any other entrance exams like CMAT, XAT, etc. To get admission in your desired college while you are pursuing your M.Sc you will have to work smart to cope with your college studies and entrance exams preparation.

Some of the institutes consider CAT scores while some of them do not. For MBA in T&T management you need to first list down the colleges you prefer to go and then ask them if they are considering the entrance exams courses or not. You may get some institutes which focus on your skills more than your entrance exam scores.

Preparation of CAT exam in the best way would help you score the highest marks for sure. Check for the coaching classes providing the same in your city and get the admission there. This would help you get the perfect logic after each solution and you would feel confident while giving your CAT entrance.
