Yes, it's hard. You must be good in all aspects, right from English vocab to situational mathematics. I scored 92.3% only because of the dedication for one complete year.

You have to give at least one entrance exam. It doesn't need to be CAT only. Even MAT and several other such exams can get you through.

Hello,
You scored fairly well. If you believe that you can perform better, give CAT again. However, there are chances that you may score less than 77. So, it is better to go for MBA . Also your work ex will upscale your resume. And Jaipuria Noida is a good place to pursue MBA in marketing.

CAT scores above 80 percentile is sufficient to get into good colleges except the IIMs. I scored 92.3 percentile in CAT and made it to Doon Business School, Dehradun. The ROI of DBS, Dehradun is the best in the country with 108 companies visiting the campus last year.

Yes, other than IIMs, there are many to target. I scored 92.3% in CAT. I am currently studying in Doon Business School, Dehradun with a scholarship of 40%. The placements are decent and companies even from abroad have recruited students from DBS. Last year, a student got placed in a bank of Sanghai with INR 22.5 lpa.

Considering the fact that you have low scores, it wouldn't be easy for you to get selected in IIT, even with your reservation. But, if you really want to continue your studies outside India you can.

Quantitative Aptitude is one of the important section in CAT examination. To prepare for this section, you have to cover topic by topic. Start with easy concepts and practice as many questions as you can. Then increase your difficulty level of questions for those concepts. If you face difficulty in any concept you can take help of your teacher, friends or elders. This will help you in gaining confidence over quantitative analysis section.

I personally can give you information about Doon Business School, Dehradun as I am a student here. 60% scholarship can be availed with 90 percentile score in CAT exam at Doon Business School, Dehradun. So, that is just less than Rs 2 Lacs for entire course. The highest placement of DBS, Dehradun went upto INR 22.5 LPA last year.
