Indeed a good score is favorable if you are looking for MBA. A good institute with almost 100% placement record, brand name is corporate world will be worth investing. As you have significant amount of work experience, you must try for switching in another IT company. In my view, consider MBA only if you are getting good Return on your investment for 2 years else switching job is best option. Thanks.

Dear NityaShree!
No! You don't have to appear CAT exam for getting admission in SRCC (either UG or PG). However, if you score very good marks in CAT then it would be additional advantage to you. Work experience is preffered. You have to face GD-PI process. What other skills/training you need is depends upon in which subject you are willing to take admission and from which subject you are. Having relevant skills will definitely help you in resume screening.
Hope this helps.

Normally, they don't take those who score less than 50 percentile in any entrance test.
But, main focus of institute is to take those who are capable in enhancing them self. So, in some cases, they take those who have scored lesser marks but have the talent.

Dear Gunjan, you have a fair chance of getting a call from IIFM if you belong to any of the reserved categories, but you can apply through any one of the scores i.e, either CAT or XAT. The last date of applying to IIFM has been extended until February 20, 2018.

It is a very good percentile to get any good college all over the India. But, if you want admission in any of IIMs, you should drop and try next year. Your current percentile shows that you have potential to clear the IIM's cut off. All the Best.
