IIMs are the best option. For that, you need to study well. Dedicate yourself to your studies. CAT is a bit difficult. For getting into IIMs, you might require 98-99%ile.

Nowadays, masters in engineering won't fetch you a good salaried job. If you go for MBA that too in IIM through CAT, the companies will automatically target you to join their firm. So CAT is the best option.

Hi Biswajet,
To get admission into MBA, NMIMS conduct its own entrance exam called NMAT. It doesn't accept CAT/XAT scores.

Hi Raghavan, CAT scores are not accepted abroad, however, there are a very few management schools which might. In Germany, please check ESCP Business School. They may accept CAT for specific programs.

For IBSAT cut off is around 85 percentile and for CAT it is around 80 percentile.
