CAT exam is accepted in India by top MBA colleges in India whereas GMAT exam is for abroad for top MBA colleges.
So, you want to do MBA from top colleges in foreign country then go for GMAT.
If you want to do MBA from India then CAT is the best option.

JIMS, Rohini's cut-off for MAT is 560 composite score and 60 percentile for CAT.
