For CAT, 12th marks are not required, however, you must have a minimum of 50 percent marks in your graduation degree. However, during admission process in IIM, your 12th marks also have weightage as 30 percent weightage is there for your personal profile such as your work experience, your communication, your academic record, etc.
Having said this, that does not make you ineligible. If you have other strong areas to showcase.

AfterCAT results, you have to apply in different colleges for admission and they have GD and PI rounds. After filing up forms of different colleges you will get call from them for GD or PI round and for counseling. After clearing GD and PI rounds you will get admission.

Dear Anant,
You have a chance of getting into the college. Apart from your percentile, the admission depends upon your GD-PI and your knowledge about the current affairs.
All the best and feel free to ask any questions.

Hi Nayeem,
FMS shortlists students on the basis of their CAT score alone, which also forms a major component of composite score for final admission offers. Past academic records are not considered at FMS at any stage.

Not at all! There are so many good B-schools which do not accept scores of CAT or MAT. Moreover, the placement process of a B-school typically includes your overall performance during your two years' in that college, relevant skills and the right aptitude to crack that interview. Entrance scores of any particular exam do not play a major role there.
