Review of FMS - Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.

Placements: FMS does not lag very much from IIM as its alumni got a salary package of around 15.4 LPA. Placements and companies which visit to recruit students are almost similar in both these institutes. But FMS does not get placement offers by the top strategy consults as IIMs get. However, chances to get placed in top companies and organisations will be on par with the IIM institutes. The batch strength reduces the competition level, so even an academically average student has a high probability of getti...

LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :-

For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelors degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher.
LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship.
Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc.
Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
Board Toppers
For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities

Yes, you can, but any MBA unless done from one of the top management colleges of the country, sets you in a level which is not much better than say a BDS working under another doctor in a private practice. Rather much less in terms of pay if u practice alone. Much lesser than what u will earn in a successful practice after post graduation or in government service. MBA seems an easy escape, but it takes u away from clinical practice.
On the contrary, if u want to leave clinical practice and use BDS as just a graduate degree, MBA is the way to go. You can opt for hospital management. There are some great courses in Apollo and symbiosis. It will help you get into one of the better corporate chains, which can give a fulfilling life.
Please do it, only if you truly want it, not just because the pay looks lucrative now.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
