The eligibility criteria for the admission into the three years Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHM&CT) and Bachelors Degree in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts (BCT&CA) is 10+2.

IIHMCA conducts common entrance test in month of April, 2018 for the admission into the Three Years Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts (BHM&CT).

BHM is mostly offered by private institutes affiliated to state universities and is of 4 years duration. Apart from this, there is no such major difference as both the degrees are equally recognised by industry and for other purposes.
