The chances are low as cut-offs for PUMBA are usually above 99 percentile. But, you should definitely give a try.

B.Com is general preference still one can choose BBA / BMS also as a higher level of accounting and finance will be surely a part of CA studies. But, exposure to management (Marketing / Advertising) will always be advantageous.

Hello Sanjana,
IIT is a highly reputed and no. 1 institution in India which is recognized worldwide.
The admission into IITs is based on two exams JEE main and JEE Advanced.
You need to improve a lot in concept clarity and I'm sure your board syllabus will not be equal to JEE standards. You need to solve a lot of problems and really work hard for these two years. Only maths and physics will not help you. You need to know chemistry also as it is an easy scoring subject.

If you have applied for MMS then you won't be getting shortlisted as cutoff is very high. For PGDM category won't be applicable. If you have done good in GE-PI process and have applied for all the courses then you might get a call.

Except for CTS, most of other prefers minimum 60 percent in past academic credentials, but the world does not end there, you still have many organisations where academic percentage does not matter.

With regards to admission in XLRI there is no CAP as such. However having a decent academic profile will always be beneficial in the interviews and your placement. Low percentage should not discourage you from aiming for admissions. There are ample number of people who despite having poor academic score have got admissions and have done well in their career.
