After completing class 12th, you need to appear for various entrance examinations. I would suggest you to appear for JEE Mains and Advanced. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve as a backup in case things don't end up the way you've planned for IIT/ AIEEE.
Every state has its own share of good engineering colleges. So, don't underestimate

If you want to study Bachelor's degree then you must complete your 10+2 and you must be very good in your studies. If you are planning to study after class 10th you can check colleges under the University of Oxford. Check this link:

Check the colleges and email them for the admission purpose.

Long way to go, complete your +2 and degree course. Later, you can think or while pursuing the degree, you can pursue digital marketing course simultaneously. Until that, complete your formal education.
All the best.

One year gap is not all that big for any recruiter to ponder over. You can always say that you took a break for studying without any disturbance. But be truthful to them.
