You can go to study in US after 12th, as it is easier to get into universities than high schools. Pursuing your 11th and 12th from US may not be the best idea as the education structure there is completely different from how Indian schools function.

As B.Tech is a four year course your goals and interests might change in the course of time so it is early to counsel or even predict. After graduation if you land up with a job go for it. You can think of studying further also after gaining few years work experience. Focus on the current situation and work hard on your academics and also keep yourself involved in extra curriculars.
