The minimum eligibility to pursue Bachelors in Software Engineering is to pass the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for this course is 4 years.

BBA is a graduation course so the basic requirement for admission is to pass 12th standard with the subjects of English and any one of the following subject:
Maths, Statistics, Accountancy, Book-keeping or Economics.To get admission in any good college you should score the minimum cut-off marks required by that particular college. Some colleges conduct their own entrance tests for BBA admissions & some may consider your 12th percentage only. Majorly after the 12th standard result is declared the newspapers are filled up with the advertisements for admission in different colleges and institutes. So keep updated yourself. Go ahead.

It depends on your daughter's interest in various subjects. The more interested a student in any subject, the more she will be able to excel in her studies. Again, where do you want to see your daughter with in a few years after studies - as a scientist / doctor / engineer or as an accountant/clerk?. If you want to see your a daughter as a doctor or engineer and if your daughter has that aptitude and is good in science/mathematics, it is better to pursue science. If she is good in accountancy and book keeping, commerce can be a choice. If you are still confused, subject her to an aptitude test. Counselling help may be available in your city.
