It depends on your interest and aim, for a degree course, you should go for PUC but for engineering, it's better to opt for Diploma as it gives you the basic knowledge of engineering.

You need 50% marks in PCB (practicals+theory) in your board exams to be eligible for NEET. During admissions, if two students profile clashes (everything is same i.e. age, marks in the individual subject in NEET, category, etc., then your board marks are considered for admissions.

Hello Jayashri,
There is nothing like SAT in India. Admissions are based on marks obtained in 12th. Of course, for admission into professional courses, there are state level or Pan India entrance tests. So, depending on your interest and desire, you can take admission directly or via an entrance test.

Yes, you may apply for it. A majority of students study via NIOS due to such reasons. But, do work really hard.
