You have chosen PCM group or PCB group or Commerce or Arts in 12th standard. It means you have chosen your area of interest. Do not surprise or tense. You have done your best. But yes, off course, if you wish to change your field for higher studies, you can go through many options according to your interest. A student having Art stream in 12th standard can pursue his further study in art, humanities, management, media, fashion, journalism and tourism field. A student having PCB or biology in 12th standard can pursue his further study in medical, pharmacy, Science research and all art group fields. A student having PCM or Math in 12th standard can pursue his further study in engineering & technology, pharmacy, architecture, and all art group fields. And moreover, students from any of above streams can pursue their further studies in law, management, fashion, textile, social work and library Science.

BBA is a Bachelors degree in Commerce and Business administration. The degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their interconnection, while also allowing for specialisation in a particular area. BBA programmes expose students to a variety of "core subjects" and allow students to specialize in a specific academic area. The degree also develops the student's practical, managerial and communication skills, and business decision-making capability. Many programmes incorporate training and practical experience, in the form of case projects, presentations, internships, industrial visits, and interaction with experts from the industry.

1. The candidate must hold a Bachelors Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PWD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
2. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelors degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if they submit a certificate from the Principal / Registrar of their University/institution (issued on or before the date as stipulated by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelors degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.
3. Candidates applying for CAT 2017 should fulfill any one of the following conditions:
Completed Bachelors degree with the required percentage of marks. Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with required percentage.

(a) Development and Testing: In order to have technical career in IT, you require educational qualifications such as B.Tech CS/ IT, BCA-MCA, B.Sc-M.Sc CS/IT. (b) IT infrastructure support including Desktop, server, networking, Telecom support. Most of these roles are filled by Electronics and Science grads or Diploma and degree holders. (c) Project Management: Technical professional grows into role of Project Management with Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, etc. After few years of development or testing experience. Some MBA IT grads get Project Management opportunities directly. (d) Business Analysis: Subject Matter experts with domain experience in Functional areas such as BFSI, Healthcare, Travel and Transportation, etc. Can become B.A. Most of the B.A. Are with MBA background with B.A. Certification such as IIBA or BCS. (e) Business Development: MBA grads have opportunities in IT industry in PreSales support, Sales and Marketing and Account Management. (f) IT support role in Quality, Technical writing, Customer service engineer etc. These roles are filled with lower education. Profile professional such as BCA grads. (g) In addition IT industry requires HR, Finance and Accounting, Administration professionals. You cannot get entry into IT field with 10+2 Commerce with IP.
