Your class 12th score is low, as they generally require at least 60 percent in the boards and you have a lot less so not sure about passing the criteria.

In order to apply for this scholarship, the applicants must have passed class 12th and pursuing courses in Natural Sciences at the B.Sc or Integrated M.Sc Level. Given below is the detailed information about the eligibility criteria of this scholarship:
1. The applicant must be within the age group of 17-22 years.
2. The candidate must be among the top 1% of the successful students in terms of aggregate marks in his/her class 12th board exam.
3. The applicant must be enrolled in courses of Natural and Basic Sciences at B.Sc, BS, and Integrated M.Sc/MS level in the same year of passing class 12th.

Yes you can take. There is no restriction for admission on account of gap after 12th. However it is advisable here that you should go with IGNOU distance courses.

Yes you can get. As per the Information bulletin 2019-20, Applicants with gap year (s) will not be at any disadvantage for the purpose of admission to undergraduate courses. Yes you can get, If meeting the other eligibility criteria like marks obtained and entrance exam etc. The colleges may asked for submitting a gap certificate by explaining the appropriate reasons of gap after doing the 12th.
