Hi siddhi probably the best question you have asked the CBSE 12th exam itself is the toughest exam and that too in du if you are asking let me tell you Delhi university entrance exam DUET is equivalent to because if one clears the CBSE exam he or she has to get through entrance to get in the du if percentage is less then this entrance happens and it all depends on the cut off marks so equivalent is entrance but CBSE is the toughest exam if he or she gets less then they have to get through Delhi university entrance exam DUET that is considered the toughest.

Hello,
If there was really a genuine reason for that long gap between class 10th and class 12, and it can be justified properly, ideally you should not face any problems as such.

You are eligible for admission into BCA in almost every university. Only pass marks are required for admission into BCA. So, don't worry about eligibility criteria for colleges. Just choose a college/university according to your budget and then prepare for their entrance exam.

No, computer Science or mathematics aren't mandatory subjects for many universities. There are few universities and colleges which requires Maths and computer Science to get admission into BCA. You'll have to check and find the best college or university according to your +2s percentage. Make sure you check their eligibility criteria from their websites before seeking admission, it'll help you to save time. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app "BCA - Course Programming" which is specially designed and developed for BCA students and is available on Googl

Yes, if you want to get admission into top universities and colleges for BCA then you definitely should study mathematics in your 10+2. As the eligibility criteria for these universities requires maths as a mandatory subject to be eligible for the admission. Also, you'll be studying maths in BCA too, which is reliant on the maths taught in 10+2, so it'll be beneficial for you to study maths already in school and build your base stronger. So, you don't have to work harder later in college. Even if you did pick maths as a subject, then also you're eligible for admission into BCA but not in top universities.

The eligibility criteria for BCA course is different for every university and colleges affiliated with it. Top tier universities only provide admission to students from Science and commerce stream with Maths as a mandatory subject and at least 60% marks in their +2. With all these requirements, candidates also have to appear in an entrance exam and personal interview. Generally, the fees of colleges affiliated with such universities is low. Whereas, 2nd & 3rd tier universities provides admission to students from all streams (Science, commerce and arts/humanities), with Maths as not mandatory subject, and only passing marks are required

Yes, you can get admission into BCA even if you didn't had computer Science in +2. But to be eligible for admission into top colleges for BCA you must have mathematics as a mandatory subject in +2. But getting admission into top tier colleges is competitive, and you must score at least 60% to 70% in +2 to be eligible for entrance exam and then personal interview. Without maths you can still pursue BCA but from 2nd tier colleges, which are generally a little costlier than the top tier. But the thing about 2nd tier colleges is that you can get admission very easily without taking any entrance exam and just by scoring passing marks in +2.

Yes, to be eligible for MCA a candidate needs to have Maths as a mandatory subject either in +2 or in graduation, which in your case is already satisfied. To be eligible for MCA you need to score at least 50% to 60% in graduation.
