There is no official weightage allotted to class 11 and 12 topics in the GUJCET syllabus. Candidates should prepare for all subjects and topics equally.

Yes the PU CET (UG) 2026 syllabus for science streams will be based entirely on NCERT curriculum for class 11 and class 12 which covers physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics along with other subjects like Biotechnology.
Students can expect questions from Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT textbooks for the chosen subjects.

Hi.
AIIMS is primarily a medical college/university (undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality, etc.) + a hospital.
Its courses begin after Class 12 — i.e. you must have completed 12th standard (10+2) to be eligible for entry into courses like MBBS, B.Sc., etc.
The official course list of AIIMS includes medical and allied health degrees — not school-level classes (11th / 12th) as per its academic catalogue.
Thus, AIIMS itself does not run 11th and 12th standard as a school.

Class 11 syllabus is vast. It is lots of theoretical concepts. Also, there are many formulas to remember. One who have good grip over concept and formulas can easily qualify the examination. Some of the important chapters in class 11 Physics are Laws of motions, gravitation, oscillations, thermodynamics, etc. These topics are also important to prepare for competitive examination.

In the medical entrance test NEET, there can be 1 to 3 questions from this chapter. Some year, the Chemistry section of NEET has only one question from this chapter and in some other years, there can be 3 questions.
