A candidate would have to clear any of the accepted Marine Engineering Entrance exams in order to get into the B.Tech in Marine Engineering course. Here are the most popular ones:
All India Common Entrance Test (AICET).
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
All India Merchant Navy Test (AIMNT).
Tolani Maritime Institute B.Tech Admission Test.
Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test.
Good luck.

That's great that you want to take your career ahead. If you want to do B.Ed course from regular university, then you may apply next year as all universities entrance exams are over now. And, if you want to do from distance learning university, then you can do so now. But, it's better to do this course from regular college because it will be more valuable than doing from Open University. Good universities are DU, Jamia and then IPU. You can search on google as well, you may find many answers of your questions and related questions as well which will give you more clarity about the course and universities.
