Indian Institute of Science is the heart of the Indian education system.

Placements: Our college provides almost 100% placements for M.Tech in artificial intelligence students. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Myntra, Goldman Sachs and Alphonso. If students wish to go for internships, they can get internships easily, but generally, students won't prefer internships. They prefer to utilise time to work o...

It is a pretty good college and I would recommend it to everyone.

Placements: Not many students got placed from college. As we know that only a few students get admission here. I paid Rs. 15,000 as it's government college. Over 90% of students got internships from college. Mostly management companies like FDC, Alchemy, IPCA, etc., visit the campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is normal. The architecture here is the most famous campus in India. Facilities provided are pretty normal because it is a government college so you can't expect more from it.

Great learning and research.

Placements: Placements are 100% (at least for computer Science branch) with avg salary above 20 LPA. All students of computer Science who wanted to go for internship, got it. Roles are varied from development to research. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart visit our college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great. Wi-Fi is not in hostels but dept and labs are open 24/7. Library is open till 2 at night. Medical facilities are good. Mess offers good quality healthy food. We prefer health over taste. Gymkhana facilit...

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty members and good placements provided in 2019.

Placements: From our class, all the students got placed. The highest salary package offered here was 24 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 11 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 20 LPA. Texas Instruments, Samsung, Cisco, Intel, Maxlinear and Analog Devices are major recruiters for our college. The same companies offer internships to the students.

Infrastructure: Our department is electronic systems engineering, which is well facilitated with Wi-Fi facility and 24 hours access facility to labs an...

The best place for students to pursue research studies.

Placements: The placements were not the primary concern for many students in the college. Most of the students were interested in higher studies, but the trend is slightly changing. Many students are interested in working. Our department has bad placements. A few companies offered low salaries, so the students who got selected rejected the offers. The faculty members provide very little help, and the rest has to be done by the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is not up to the mark. Labs need to...

But in India, currently, earning money after B.Sc. and even M.Sc. is challenging as compared to MBBS. In the end, you should choose a degree of your choice because it is only then you would excel in your career. Also, both occupations are equally necessary; a country requires scientists and doctors to keep running the country, but unfortunately, only a few fractions of students take up research as compared to medicine.
