AHSEC exams are Class 12-level state board exams conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The exams are conducted for admission to bachelor's and various other courses all over India. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on 30 April 2025.

The faculty of Central Institute of Technology is very supportive and encouraging to students. The faculty is Mtech or PhD holders from institutes like IIT and NIT. They are very good with students and are very supportive. Many of them have their abroad exposure which helps students to learn a lot from the teachers.
