The UNSW acceptance rate stands at around 60% as per various unofficial sources, meaning that out of every 100 students who apply to the university's admission process, about 60 applicants are likely to be offered the opportunity to enroll on the campus grounds. This makes the admission criteria of UNSW moderately selective.

Yes. RMIT allows its international enrollees to work part-time and generally, students used to be allowed to work for 40 hours/fortnight in Australia if they come from a foreign country. During the holiday season, they can even work full-time. In 2023 the work restrictions for visa holders reintroduced and increased to 48 hours/fortnight

It is not that hard to secure a seat at Deakin. The Deakin University acceptance rate stands around 65-75% as per various unofficial sources, meaning that out of every 100 students who apply to the university's admission process, around 65-75 are likely to be offered the opportunity on the campus grounds. This makes the admission criteria of the university rather non-selective.

It's okay if you have an academic record that's not as attractive. While academics are a core factor while evaluating a student's profile for admissions, they are still not the sole deciding factor. Deakin follows a holistic approach with its admission criteria, meaning that as long as a student has an attractive record of co-curricular participation, strong references, and meets the minimum grade requirements of the university (GPA of 2.6 in high school), one is good to go!
