No, you can't take NPTEL certification exams from home. They are held on Saturdays and Sundays in two sessions a day as follows:

Morning Session: 9 AM to 12 PM

Afternoon Session: 2 PM to 5 PM

Applicants must report to the assigned exam center with an Admit Card and an acceptable Identification Card for verification purposes.

The total tuition fees for a certificate course at the All India Management Association (AIMA) ranges from INR 7,080 to INR 5,27,000. All India Management Association offers a Part Time Certificate course to the students. The duration of Certificate at All India Management Association is 160 hours to 24 months.
