Chandigarh Univesity has been awarded an excellent rating of 'A+' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It has a CGPA of 3.28 which makes it one of top 5% institutes in India. The university has also made its place among India's reputed Higher Educational Institutions (HEI).

Chandigarh University is ranked nationally and internationally by various ranking bodies. It is one of the top private colleges in India. As per QS World Rankings 2024, CU ranks 1st among other private colleges in the country. In addition, in the overall university category, it ranks in the 771-780 band, 20th in Southern Asia, and 149 in Asia. In 2023, the university was 45th in the overall category. It also received a ranking by the NIRF in different categories, including Engineering, Management, Architecture, etc.

To take the CUCET exam to get admission to Chandigarh University, you should apply for CUCET exam in their official website and register to it by submitting the application form. For the application, the fee is INR 1000 before submitting application form. The registered candidates are required to appear for the CUCET Entrance Exam on their chosen dates.

Hi John!
Chandigarh University is a private university, which does not require any entrance exam and GLC, Mumbai is a government college, the selection is based on entrance exam scores.
If you want to migrate, a Provincial Eligibility Certificate issued from the Mumbai University will be required. Application for the certificate is to be made to the Registrar of Mumbai University in the prescribed form along with the prescribed fees.

Chandigarh University (CU or CUCHD) is a private university, accredited by NBA and with an A+ Grade by the NAAC. The university is approved by UGC, AICTE, BCI, NCHMCT, PCI, COA, NCTE, AIU, and CSI. CU Chandigarh is a member of ICAR, AUAP, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, IUCEE, and ACS. In 2019, CU became the youngest university in the country to be assessed and accredited by NAAC and granted an A+ grade in the first cycle itself.
