No, physics, chemistry, maths or biology is involved in the exam. You need a good grammar knowledge in English, reasoning ability and should buy a guide for the teaching aptitude. Because to answer the questions of teaching aptitude, you have to think like a teacher and believe me to think like a teacher is not an easy task.

If you wish to pursue automobile engineering in India, you will have to take chemistry, however, if you don't take chemistry, there are some countries that allow you to pursue some kinds of engineering. For example, Singapore allows one to pursue engineering without chemistry. Different countries and different institutes have different requirements.

Hi Alka, you can do M.Sc. After B.Sc. Chemistry. Your B.Sc. Marks will be given more weightage than class 12th. Whether or not PCM is required in 12th will depend on the university admission requirements but not required during B.Sc. Commonly.

For admission, you need to fulfil the following criteria:
The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1994, if he/she belongs to the open or OBC-NCL category and, on or after October 1, 1988, if he/she belongs to the SC, ST or PwD category.
The candidate should have qualified i.e. obtained a rank in UCEED 2018. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (class 12th or equivalent) in 2017 or 2018. Those who appeared for the first time in the qualifying examination in 2017 or earlier are not eligible, I don't know much about this.

Some institutes may not specify the minimum qualifying marks and may offer admissions directly where as some reputed institutes may conduct entrance examination to short list the deserving candidates for the course. Interested candidates need to submit their filled form and other required documents before the last date and further communication will be done by the particular institute.
