Hi Veer,
International students studying in Canada can work part time during studies. During semester breaks and vacations, one can also work full time. It is a very good way to earn some extra pocket money and also gain some experience. The universities also offer various part time job within the campus, you should look for such jobs specially teaching assistantship for making a strong profile and also gaining some good experience in your field. You can contact the universities regarding these points while you are applying.

MHCET is the qualifying exam. So, clearing minimum cutoff for boards and your main focus must be scoring MHCET. There is no link between boards and any competitive exam. So, focus on it.
